Welcome to my friends Seat Leon Cupra R.
People that know my friend Max will know that he goes
through cars like I have hot dinners he likes his fast cars. He has had a nice
Renault Clio 197 F1 that according to some chav at USC, couldn’t pull the skin
off a rice pudding to a bonkers Mk1 Focus RS 400hp and bright orange wheels
with many more cars in between, so the Seat kind of goes in the middle of the
2. With a healthy 280hp this car isn’t slow in the straight line and won’t
disappoint in the corners with Porsche front brakes, Strut brace AP coilovers
and 18” Speedline Turini Alloy Wheels in grey wrapped in Continental Contisport
3’s. The interior isn't a bad place to be either with the optional extra
Recaros makes it an enjoyable ride for driver and passengers. On the styling
front the car has changed much and why would you it’s a good looking car
Engine:
As I said before the car isn’t slow the engine modifications
have been selected to complement each other.
BMC CDA induction kit and the Blue Flame Exhaust Manifold De-Cat pipe
and cat bake system making it breath better. Upgraded 255LPH fuel pump, ECS
race N75 valve, Forge turbo intake pipe and an intercooler hard pipe kit with a
Stage 1 Ricci Concept ECU remap produces that 28ohp Spiking at 20psi and
peaking around 18psi. Colour coded Samco hoses smarten up the engine bay.
This car is something of a street sleeper eating up bigger
car like M3’s and the new Focus ST.
I hope he keeps the Leon longer than his last cars but
knowing him he will get itchy feet and find something a bit quicker!
Thanks to Max for the information and photos.
